Border Run Gin: Batch 3
Border Run combines five sustainably sourced Queensland-endemic native botanicals with traditional gin ingredients. The flavour profile celebrates native Atherton Raspberry from the far north and Native Lemongrass from the desert.
Border Run has juicy berry and citrus on the nose, notes of rosella and the Australian bush on the palate and finishes with balanced spice thanks to the intersection of lemon-scented gum and cubeb pepper. It has generous botanicals and a 43% ABV, so the flavours won't get lost if you're a G&T fan like us.
After red tape stopped the original launch of this recipe and Alfred Wiley Distillery in Brisbane, we crossed the border to set up in Tweed Heads South, NSW, where Border Run gin was born.
Each bottle is 700ml and individually numbered by the distiller.
